Protest against the Narmada River Dam project, India
The Namada River development project , the largest in the world, involves the construction of 30 huge dams and the displacement of 25 million people, including the Adivasi people living in the shadow of the Sardar Sarovar Dam. As the waters rise many feel they would rather drown than leave their homes.
